Kirui sets world leading time, Odumosu sets Nigerian record

Nigerian Ajoke Muizat Odumosu improved her national 400m Hurdles record with a time of 54.68 at the IAAF Diamond League in Monaco on Thursday (22 July). 
Kenyan Silas Kirui clocked 3 minutes and 29.27 (3:29.27 to run the world fastest 1500m this year at the IAAF Diamond League in Monaco on Thursday night (22 July).

Nigerian Margaret Etim (left) bagged a silver medal in the women’s 400m at the World Junior Championships in Moncton Canada on Thursday (22July). In all Africans bagged eight medal in a single day, the best result so far at the championships.
