Little known-Ethiopian Mohammed Temem emerged winner of the BLOM Beirut Marathon in the Lebanese capital on Sunday.
Competing in his third marathon of the year, the 20 year old Temam covered the distance in 2:16:12. Temem made his marathon debut at the Abebe Bikila Marathon in Addis Ababa Ethiopia where he was finished fifth. He was fifth again in Amman Jordan. Meanwhile the women’s race was won by another Ethiopian Mihret Tadessa (2:42:41).
